Overview of the Role:
Join a team at the forefront of renewable energy infrastructure as a Transmission Line Senior Engineer. In this pivotal role, you'll manage the design of critical transmission line projects for wind, solar, and battery energy storage systems from conception through construction. Your expertise will directly impact the expansion of clean energy infrastructure across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage transmission line design projects from Early Stage through Execution
  • Direct engineering consultants to deliver high-quality transmission line designs
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to define and influence project requirements
  • Secure and manage engineering consulting resources through competitive bidding
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop routes and secure necessary permits
  • Oversee engineering deliverables for competitive proposals and construction
  • Represent Engineering & Construction interests in cross-functional meetings

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 5 years of direct experience in HV transmission line projects
  • Strong knowledge of transmission design principles and standards
  • Excellent communication and project management capabilities
  • Technical competence with one-line/three-line diagrams and plan profiles
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with ability to provide value engineering
  • Willingness to travel within North America

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Engineering/Management experience with PMP and/or P.E. certification
  • Proficiency with PLSCADD, Microsoft products, AutoCAD, and Primavera
  • Experience with renewable energy infrastructure projects
