Join one of the world's largest utility solar developers as their Commissioning Project Manager, where you'll oversee the delivery, installation, and startup of utility-scale solar powerplants. This critical role positions you as the Owner's representative, ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards across multi-million dollar renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee subcontractors and OEMs for utility solar powerplant delivery and installation
  • Manage construction turnover, pre-energization, and commissioning activities
  • Coordinate interconnect activities with Transmission Operators, PPA, and ISO
  • Perform detailed system quality control inspections and maintain punch-lists
  • Create and manage energization plans and commissioning procedures
  • Lead substation testing, startup, and performance testing initiatives
  • Interface with project management committees and act as primary company representative
  • Provide comprehensive reporting to upper management on project progress

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Solar or Energy Storage commissioning
  • Thorough understanding of Utility Scale Solar projects and SCADA systems
  • Expertise in DC systems (0-2,000Vdc) and AC systems (480V-34.5kV)
  • Experience with inverters, trackers, weather stations, and transformers
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and electrical troubleshooting
  • Engineering or professional electrical background in power systems
