Job Description:

The People Services Director (PSD) is a partner to the executive and leadership team members, responsible for defining, developing, and implementing People Service initiatives. The PSD is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for all areas of People Services, including employee relations, compensation management, performance management, training and leadership development. This is a hands-on role where the Director and performs day-to-day human resource and department operational tasks.

The PSD reports directly to the hospital CEO. Many People Service functions are centralized and administered which includes recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, position control, performance reviews, transactions, employee and management self-service through the Oracle system.

Must-Haves

• 5 years of acute care hospital HR experience
• Strong employee relations background
•  A leader who wants to work in a 1 person department
• Multi-tasking skills
