Senior Business Analyst, Public Opinion & Polling

Rate: Up to $61/hour DOE

Our client is a leading Fortune 500 energy company seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their Research, Insights and Analytics team. This role focuses on public opinion polling and strategic insights development, serving as a key contributor across marketing research and analytics activities.

The successful candidate will work with high independence in anticipating business needs, building relationships, and developing solutions that advance business objectives while ensuring successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to develop insights roadmaps aligned with key priorities
• Create and standardize approaches for identifying & quantifying public opinion trends nationwide
• Recommend and manage custom research methodologies including focus groups, surveys, polling, and sentiment analysis
• Produce presentations, dashboards, and reports that inspire internal partners to action
• Assist in creating audience personas and building digital targeting audiences based on research results
• Craft compelling stories using multiple data sources including behavioral, qualitative, quantitative, and syndicated research
• Execute DIY research projects using complex methodologies and diverse research toolsets
• Manage multiple vendor relationships effectively

Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 5+ years of relevant market research experience
• Proven knowledge managing full market research cycle
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Experience with reputational tracking agencies (Harris Poll, IPSOS, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and link insights to growth opportunities
• Experience with customer insights and analytics tools
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to stakeholders
