About the Role

Our client, a leader in renewable energy generation and battery storage, is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the Regulatory & Political Affairs team. This is a 3-month contract opportunity based on-site in Juno Beach, Florida. In this role, you will provide operational and analytical support, helping to manage contracts, track political contributions, and ensure smooth business processes within a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate closely with legal, regulatory, and external vendor partners to maintain compliance and drive efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Regulatory & Political Affairs, Legal, and outside vendors to prepare, execute, and retain contracts for lobbying and political consulting services.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date contract documentation and supporting records on the team's SharePoint site.
  • Manage and update the Lobbyist, Consultants, and Trades Report to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Code invoices correctly and coordinate timely vendor payments through SAP Accounts Payable.
  • Prepare and track political contribution requests, maintaining visibility on the SharePoint platform.
  • Compile quarterly Board of Directors reporting on political contributions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, prepare operational reports, and support medium-to-large special projects.
  • Assist with process design and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business operations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a business analysis, paralegal, or similar support role.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and SAP Accounts Payable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proven capacity to prioritize effectively, work under pressure, and meet competing deadlines.
  • Clear and concise written communication skills, with strong proofreading and editing capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate tactfully with internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and governance processes is helpful; a paralegal background is a plus.

Preferred Skills

While not required, a bachelor's degree and prior experience in a regulated or legal support setting are advantageous. Candidates who demonstrate a proactive mindset and comfort with evolving workflows will stand out.
