IAM Enterprise Password Vault (EPV) Engineer – CyberArk (Contract)
Kansas City, MO (Preferred) | Remote considered for highly experienced candidates
Contract: 12 months ( Potential extension and conversion to full-time )

Overview
We are seeking a Senior IAM Enterprise Password Vault (EPV) Engineer with strong CyberArk experience to support a large-scale, enterprise environment. This role is focused on engineering, building, and maintaining password vault infrastructure, not just day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with installations, configurations, and system design, along with a proactive and collaborative approach.
Key Activities
- Engineer and support CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault (EPV) in a self-hosted environment

Perform installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching

Troubleshoot system issues, outages, and performance concerns

Support vulnerability remediation and security improvements

Manage and maintain on-prem and co-located (COLO) environments

Assist with infrastructure migration efforts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalation support
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with CyberArk or similar PAM solutions
- Hands-on experience building and configuring password vault systems
- Strong Windows Server administration experience
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (ports, protocols)
- Knowledge of IAM/PAM concepts and security best practices

Scripting experience:
- PowerShell (required)
- Perl (preferred)
- Ansible (nice-to-have)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system and security issues
- Experience with self-hosted CyberArk environments
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure
- Background in system migrations (on-prem to data center/COLO)
- Experience working in Agile teams
Work Environment
- Kansas City, MO strongly preferred
- On-site presence expected for local candidates (hybrid model)
- Remote considered for highly experienced candidates

Additional Details
- On-call rotation approximately every 6–7 weeks
