Position Summary

Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a Finance & Restructuring Associate to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is well-suited for an associate looking to expand their experience in sophisticated corporate finance transactions while working within a collaborative and well-respected practice.

The role offers meaningful responsibility and exposure to a broad range of financing structures and restructuring-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on complex corporate finance transactions, including senior and mezzanine debt, asset-based lending, cash-flow lending, sponsor finance, unitranche, and junior capital transactions
• Support workout and restructuring-related matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing and transaction documentation
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on active matters
• Participate in deal execution and client-facing work from start to finish

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• 3–5 years of corporate finance transactional experience at a large law firm
• Texas bar admission or ability to become admitted in Texas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail
