Job description

We are looking for a PHP WordPress Developer with 3+ years of experience to design and implement functional websites and custom PHP Laravel, and Codeigniter applications. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes, plugins, and custom applications using React Vue Angular as well as Laravel Framework. This position requires extensive experience in various programming skills like PHP (Laravel framework), HTML 5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Also, having experience with the framework library, including React Angular Vue, and a greater understanding of UI aesthetics (Screen size, color, fonts, etc.) is a must. Experience in Responsive mobile-first and adaptive design is highly recommended. A good understanding of the entire development process, right from design to deployment using Agile methodology, is required.

Requirements:

• More than 3+ Years of Experience in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP (WordPress).
• Experience in building user interfaces for websites and or web applications on WordPress PHP and JS framework library.
• Excellent skill with PHP 7, PHP 8 as an object-oriented language, and WordPress plugins.
• Understanding of creating AJAX-styled applications with PHP.
• Knowledge of HTML, Jquery, Mysql, and javascript.
• Ability to interface with existing APIs (i. e. Google Maps, Facebook API, Twitter API, YouTube API, Instagram API, and other social media networks)
• Ability to create web services for Android and iOS applications.
• Experience working in WordPress (customization and plugin creation)
• Experience working on Magento, and OpenCart will be an add-on advantage.
• Proficiency in writing MySQL queries.
• Ability to create complex database architecture.
• Knowledge of optimizing performance using Apache NGINX, and Memcached.
• Demonstrable experience in optimizing the speed of a website by studying page speed etc.
• Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO.
• Positive, approachable with a fine eye for detail.
• Experience in NGINX, Laravel, Codeigniter, and Linux is a bonus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working WordPress theme, plugin, or application.
• Design and implement new features and functionality for WordPress websites and applications.
• Ensuring high - performance and availability to manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Designing and managing the website's back end, including database and server integration.
• Conducting website application performance and UI tests.
• Monitor the performance of the live website and application built on PHP WordPress.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Conduct WordPress or PHP Laravel training for the team.
• Establish and guide the website's architecture using JS library Framework and PHP framework or WordPress.
