Role: Automation Test Engineer

Exp Range : 6 to 8 years

Work Location : Bangalore(Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Testing Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium with Java, API testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Execute functional, regression, and integration test cases
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman/Rest Assured
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand requirements and create effective test strategies
• Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools
• Integrate and maintain automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure test coverage, scalability, and reliability of automation frameworks
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Good understanding of TestNG / JUnit frameworks
• Hands-on experience in API testing (REST/SOAP)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Knowledge of automation frameworks (Hybrid / Data-driven / Page Object Model)
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Basic understanding of SQL and database validation
