Job Title: Senior Java Developer / Java Engineer

Location: Bengaluru
Experience: 5 to 8 years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Microservices, API development, Cloud (GCP), and DevOps practices, along with strong skills in testing and design patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable applications using Java/J2EE.
• Build and integrate APIs and Microservices to support enterprise-grade solutions.
• Implement unit, integration, and automation tests to ensure robust software delivery.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Apply architecture principles and design patterns to deliver maintainable, extensible solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java / J2EE with deep understanding of object-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience in API development and Microservices architecture.
• Proven expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Selenium, etc.).
• Good knowledge and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, especially GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and software architecture principles.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
