Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Data Scientist to join our Global Finance Analytics CoE (GFA) team. GFA is a crucial element of Finances strategy to become more strategic and integrated function, while being more agile in building and deploying data, analytics, planning, forecasting and modeling capabilities and solutions on a global scale.

This role will focus on leveraging data and analytical tools, strategic thinking, and hypothesis-based analysis to enhance financial forecasting, risk modeling, and strategic planning. You will work closely with finance leaders, cross-functional SMEs, and technology teams to build predictive models and deliver actionable insights that drive financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, reusable, and scalable components.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

 -Develop and deploy predictive models to support financial            planning, budgeting, and forecasting

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization and top-line growth

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, HR, Sales Ops, and IT to align data science initiatives with business goals

- Proactively mines data lakes / warehouses to identify trends and patterns and generates insights for business units and senior leadership

- Design and implement machine learning algorithms for financial risk assessment and scenario analysis

- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders using tools like Power BI or Tableau

- Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards

- Contribute to the development of data products and automation tools that enhance financial decision-making
