Role – Senior Software Security Engineer

Experience: 7–9 Years

Role Summary

Lead client engagements to establish and improve SSDLC and DevSecOps practices, with growing focus on AI security in development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SSDLC assessments and implementation for clients
• Conduct secure design reviews and threat modelling
• Drive DevSecOps integration (SAST, SCA, DAST, secrets, IaC) in CI/CD
• Advise on AI security risks (data leakage, insecure AI-generated code, prompt risks)
• Track vulnerabilities, risks, and remediation status
• Manage client communication, delivery timelines, and reporting

Behavioral & Project Skills

• Strong client-facing communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Practical risk-based decision making
• Experience in Agile delivery and stakeholder coordination

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in AppSec / SSDLC / DevSecOps
• Strong Exposure to Git, cloud and CI/CD security tools
• Basic understanding of AI usage in SDLC and risks

Certifications

Preferred: CISSP / CSSLP / DevSecOps
Good to Have: CCSP, AWS/Azure Security, Scrum/PMP, GWAPT/OSCP
