Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer Accessibility Testing with 5 to 8 years of experience in ensuring digital products meet accessibility standards and provide inclusive user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accessibility testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Utilize tools such as JAWS, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, WCAG Color Contrast Checker, TalkBack (Android), and VoiceOver (iOS).
- Validate applications against WCAG 2.1 Level A/AA standards and WAI-ARIA guidelines.
- Apply the POUR (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust) principles during evaluation and testing.
- Conduct compliance assessments for documents, SaaS applications, and other tools used in the market.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure accessibility fixes and improvements are properly implemented.
- Provide recommendations and best practices on accessibility from design to deployment.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Hands-on experience with axe Dev Tools or similar browser accessibility tools.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, ARIA attributes, and landmark roles as defined by W3C.
- Practical exposure to mobile accessibility tools and platforms.
