Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented E2E Test Coordinator to oversee and execute end-to-end testing for our retail systems, including eCommerce platforms, POS (Point of Sale), inventory management, CRM, and order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless integration between systems, identify defects early, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Strategy:
- Define E2E test scenarios covering retail workflows (order placement, payment processing, inventory sync, returns, etc.).
- Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for retail applications.
- Test Execution & Coordination:
- Lead end-to-end testing across web, mobile, and in-store systems.
- Coordinate testing efforts between QA, developers, business analysts, and third-party vendors.
- Conduct regression, integration, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Defect Management:
- Log, track, and prioritize defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or TestRail.
- Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Automation & Tools:
- Identify opportunities for test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Postman, etc.).
- Work with QA engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Retail-Specific Testing:
- Validate omnichannel workflows (BOPISBuy Online, Pick Up In-Store, curbside pickup).
- Test loyalty programs, promotions, and pricing rules.
- Ensure data consistency across ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
- Reporting & Compliance:
- Provide test status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with retail industry standards (PCI-DSS for payments, GDPR for data privacy).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 8+ years in QA/testing, preferably in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain domains.
- Hands-on experience with E2E testing of integrated systems (POS, eCommerce, WMS, ERP).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, Swagger) and SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with retail tech stacks (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Square, etc.).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication to coordinate with global teams.
Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
Note: This is not a lead role; it is an individual contributor position focused on vendor coordination and taking full ownership to ensure overall system stability.
