Role Summary

The Data Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data products on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires strong technical expertise in modern data engineering, DevOps principles, cloud infrastructure, and data visualization to support analytical and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for data, technology, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and products that align with business and technical requirements.
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Terraform scripts, and cloud infrastructure using DevOps best practices.
• Ensure all data solutions meet standards for security, scalability, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams to define and deliver data product roadmaps.
• Contribute to the organizations data mesh strategy by ensuring interoperability across data domains.
• Develop and maintain SSIS Cubes for multidimensional data modeling and OLAP querying.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or equivalent tools, integrating data from both cloud and on-premises sources.
• Conduct performance tuning, data validation, and root cause analysis to ensure reliable and accurate data delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in data architecture, reducing technical debt and enhancing automation.
• Stay updated on emerging data, analytics, and cloud technologies to propose innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Advanced Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 
• Strong proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, Java, or Scala).
• Experience with data formats (Avro, Parquet) and data modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS database systems.
• Experience managing DevOps pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and cloud deployments.
• Working experience with data visualization and BI tools (Power BI preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Only

Work Location : Bangalore(Hybrid)

Form of employment: Full-time until further notice, we apply 6 months probationary employment.
