Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Application Developer with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM), particularly Software Asset Management (SAM). The role involves designing, developing, and delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions while supporting enterprise-level clients such as telecom domain engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITAM solutions, with a focus on Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Lead and contribute to end-to-end SAM implementations, including licensing, compliance, and optimization.
• Customize and configure ServiceNow modules using best practices and platform standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities, including solutioning, estimations, and client presentations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and implementation guides.
• Work on integration of ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within asset and license management processes.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and optimization of implemented solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in:
  • IT Asset Management (ITAM)
  • Software Asset Management (SAM)
• Strong experience in:
  • SAM lifecycle (entitlement, reconciliation, compliance)
  • Software licensing models and vendor management
• Proficiency in:
  • JavaScript, Glide APIs
  • ServiceNow scripting (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes)
  • Flow Designer / Workflow
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Good understanding of CMDB and Asset lifecycle management.
• Experience in solution design and pre-sales activities is a plus.
