Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable, high-performance backend systems by translating business requirements into robust technical solutions. The role demands strong expertise in modern Java-based technologies, reactive programming, and performance optimization, along with awareness of emerging AI tools and LLMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Implement reactive programming paradigms for high-performance and responsive applications
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of applications
• Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA
• Stay updated with latest technologies, including AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior developers

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Reactive Programming (WebFlux/Reactor)
• Expertise in building and consuming REST APIs
• Experience in performance tuning and system optimization
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot)
• Basic understanding of LLMs and their practical applications in development
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
