Job Summary:

As part of our ongoing global expansion and the adoption of our Customer Data Platform (CDP), we are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Application Expert. This role is pivotal in ensuring a high-quality, scalable, and efficient CDP setup and implementation that drives data-driven marketing across regions.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, cross-functional, and adept at bridging the gap between business, operations, and technical teams. You should be comfortable switching between platform support, configuration, and data model enhancements ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Serve as the first line of support for platform issues; investigate and resolve incidents impacting data flows, audience delivery, or platform behavior.
  • Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor platform performance and data synchronization. Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements for scalability and stability.
  • Configuration & Governance: Manage CDP configurations, access control (RBAC), and approval workflows. Ensure compliance, security, and alignment with governance standards.
  • Collaboration with Data Teams: Partner with data engineers and analysts to enhance integrations, pipelines, and data modelsleveraging tools such as dbt, Terraform, and BigQuery.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain clear documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational best practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular checks and validations across audience use cases to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 5 to 10 years

  • Solid understanding of marketing activation, customer service, and other customer data use cases.
  • Working knowledge of CDP capabilities such as audience segmentation, identity resolution, personalization, and campaign delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with CDP tools like Hightouch, ActionIQ, Segment, or mParticle.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data governance best practices.

  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, particularly with GCP BigQuery, dbt, and Terraform.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to trace data issues across multiple systems and pinpoint root causes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with technical teams and marketing stakeholders across geographies
