Finance Analyst, FP&A

Job Purpose

The FP&A Analyst is a foundational role designed for an ambitious professional with a strong analytical mindset. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly support the Finance team's data and reporting requirements while gaining hands-on experience in financial analysis under the guidance of the Sr. Manager, all within the dynamic aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Intelligence Support: The analyst is responsible for assisting with Power BI dashboards and reports, performing ad-hoc analysis using advanced Excel and Power Query, and helping to ensure data quality and integrity.

• Financial Analysis & Planning: This includes working on monthly and quarterly financial reports, conducting variance analysis, and assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Strategic & Project Support: This involves working on financial modeling and various special projects to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline.
• At least 1-3 years of previous experience in similar roles. 
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including PowerQuery, Pivot Tables and complex formulas.
• Experience with PowerBI for creating reports and dashboards.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
