Job Purpose

The APTS Training and Standards Coordinator is responsible for ensuring exemplary customer service and operational efficiency in airport operations, while meeting safety, punctuality, and baggage handling objectives. They oversee the evaluation of service providers and ensure compliance with government regulations. Additionally, they implement improvement strategies and keep essential manuals and databases up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Scheduling
Supervise and manage Audit and Performance RoadShows at Outstations, including scheduling and planning with Vendors and Stakeholders.

Performance Strategy and Improvement
Identify areas for operational and customer service improvement and suggest enhanced methods and procedures to better achieve SLAs, performance goals, and brand reputation.

Audit and Compliance
Develop a monthly Audit Plan and review Scheduling for Training purposes (Initial and Refresher), as well as closure and review of procedures with Vendors, including Staff Training Records.

Planning
Develop project plans for performance, operational improvements, and implementation timelines for review and delivery.

Training Manuals and Standards
Ensure compliance within own and cross-functional areas with updated manuals and training procedures in line with Arajet's evolving terms and conditions, as well as governmental and national authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor´s Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in the aviation industry with an airline and/or ground handler as a certified instructor.
  • Certified Trainer / Experience in Manual Review
  • Basic airport safety and security procedures and regulations.
  • Proficient in ground handling systems and Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel).
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and planning.
