Job Purpose
The Trade Marketing Coordinator will be instrumental in supporting Arajet's sales and marketing efforts, focusing on developing and executing strategies to drive engagement and sales within the trade sector. This role will report to the VP of Sales & Distribution and will work in close collaboration with the Marketing team. It requires a proactive individual who can manage various projects, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure effective communication and material distribution to our trade partners.
Key Responsibilities
Traditional Marketing:
- Develop and maintain up-to-date sales material and marketing collateral for internal and external trade clients.
- Oversee the design and production of impactful POP materials for trade.
Design and implement special promotions and initiatives to increase trade channel sales volume. - Plan and coordinate participation in and execution of trade shows, FAM trips, webinars, sales gatherings, and other trade-focused events.
Digital Marketing:
- Design, implement, and manage the client onboarding experience, including comprehensive training programs.
- Oversee paid and owned media campaigns to promote trade sales (may include traditional media).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the trade customer journey.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize email marketing strategies for the trade segment.
Other:
- Develop and implement initiatives, such as onboarding programs, to foster high engagement within the sales team.
- Actively participate in client-facing activities, including meetings, trainings, and trade events to build relationships and support sales.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor´s degree with focus on Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated work experience in a trade marketing, marketing or advertising agency, sales support or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with a natural curiosity, creativity and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Comfortable with change, ambiguity, and adept at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously based on impact.
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Airline industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience with tools such as Canva, Figma, photoshop and/or Illustrator a plus.
- Proficiency in French and/or Portuguese is also a plus.
