JOB PURPOSE

Execute Arajets assets and liabilities activities, analyze its cash forecasting, investment, and reporting, safeguard its investment management structure, and execute all risk management activities in order to ensure that all analytical requirements of the treasury function are adequately fulfilled.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Operational Excellence

• Participate in drafting treasury procedure manuals and suggests improvements that mitigate gaps and risk in the existing policies and procedures.

• Proactively, suggest and prepare end-user reports that facilitate the business with financial insights.

Financing

• Execute Arajets asset and liabilities management activities to ensure that credit facilities available to AraJet are sufficient to support the organizations business plan.

Cash Management

• Analyze the cash forecasting, investments, and reporting of funds on an ongoing basis to ensure efficient debt and cash management.

• Ensure required funding is in each country branch office and account and work in co-ordination with various departments to make sure that payments are on-time and compliant with third parties.

Investment Management

• Execute the necessary changes to ensure that AraJets investment management structure is appropriate for the respective categories and fund levels in line with corporate targets and milestones.

Risk Management

• Execute all departmental activities pertaining to foreign exchange risk management including currency exposure and transactional analysis to ensure that currency funds are managed efficiently through best practice risk management principles to mitigate financial exposure.

Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain healthy banking relationships and manage transactional banking costs to ensure that professional relationships exist strongly with key banks and that banking arrangements are cost effective.

Team - Personal and Professional Development

• Operate within the accounting and finance team, embracing teamwork to collectively achieve high performance standards in the execution of financial tasks.

• Takes ownership for self-development and knowledge sharing among peers to enhance know-how and overall performance within the team.

Regulatory and Other

• Ensure compliance in own area and across AraJet with policies and regulations where applicable in order to safeguard the company from any high-risk audit findings, regulatory breaches and company exposure with negative financial implications.

• Ensure compliance with internal recruitment policies and procedures, including but not limited to candidate screening, interview processes, documentation, and data privacy regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration or relevant field.

• MBA and CFA are a plus.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant and developmental experience in corporate finance with a particular emphasis on treasury.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Strong planning and organisational capability.

• Strong presentational skills.

• Excellent standard of Spanish (written, conversational and comprehension).

• Proficiency in English (written, conversational and comprehension).

• Strong computer literacy.
