The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Division Controller and collaborating with multiple departments to provide essential financial and operational analysis. The role also involves managing vendor payments, driving process improvements, and maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to optimize financial operations and support informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer payments to suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Lead strategic communication with both internal and external vendors.
- Analyze financial data and develop models to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the creation, revision, and maintenance of budgets.
- Drive efficiency through the development of automated reporting and forecasting tools.
- Maintain a solid financial modeling foundation to support business initiatives.
- Create standard ad-hoc reports, Excel dashboards, and decision-support tools.
- Perform market research, data mining, and contribute to business intelligence efforts.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or similar roles.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and data-gathering skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
- Proven business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial modelling, pivot tables, and formulas).
- Advanced proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
