Role Description

This is a FULL-TIME remote (or hybrid) role for a UI/UX & Graphic Design Intern at Aralects (3 months, extendable). You'll support both the product and marketing efforts by helping shape the visual language of the brand and improving the usability and polish of our mobile app. From Figma flows to Instagram carousels, you'll work across multiple formats and play a key role in building a unified, engaging user experience.

This role is ideal for someone with strong aesthetic instincts, a love of clean design, and an eagerness to learn through real-world design challenges.

Possible Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing mobile app screens and user flows in Figma based on feedback and user testing insights.
  • Create visually engaging assets for marketing (social media, landing pages, newsletters, blog).
  • Help develop and maintain a consistent visual style guide and UI component library.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and development teams to ensure visual consistency across touchpoints.
  • Participate in user research and help interpret UX feedback into actionable design improvements.
  • Design assets for app store listings, onboarding flows, and shareable educational content.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Figma is a must; Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or After Effects are a plus.
  • Strong visual design skills and a solid understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Portfolio (personal or academic) showcasing mobile or web design work.

  • Familiarity with user research methods, design systems, or motion graphics.
  • Bonus: Interest in Arabic, language learning, or educational apps.

  • Organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a remote, async teams

Terms and Compensation

As this is an internship position at an early-stage startup, the compensation offered will be modest and primarily intended to cover basic expenses.
