Role Description
This is a FULL-TIME remote (or hybrid) role for an NLP Engineer Summer Intern at Aralects (3 months, extendable). You'll gain hands-on experience supporting early-stage business operations, branding, and marketing efforts. From social strategy to partner outreach, you'll play a key role in helping us grow awareness and build momentum as we gear up for launch.
We're looking for someone proactive, curious, and eager to learn the ins and outs of startup life; someone who's comfortable wearing multiple hats and diving into both strategy and execution.
Possible Responsibilities
- Assist in crafting and executing marketing campaigns across social media, newsletters, and community platforms.
- Conduct competitive and market research to inform positioning and messaging.
- Help manage the content calendar and contribute to blog, email, or social media copywriting.
- Reach out to potential partners, influencers, and collaborators in the Arabic learning and education space.
- Track key marketing metrics (email open rates, social growth, engagement, etc.) and prepare performance reports.
- Support basic business development tasks such as preparing pitch decks, investor outreach research, or partnership briefs.
- Participate in community-building activities and early user feedback sessions.
Qualifications
- Excellent English writing and communication skills; you can craft sharp, engaging content and communicate ideas clearly.
- Interest in Arabic or the language learning space is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience managing social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, X, or TikTok), including content planning, scheduling, engagement, and performance tracking.
- Familiarity with design or content platforms (e.g., Canva, Figma).
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Terms and Compensation
As this is an internship position at an early-stage startup, the compensation offered will be modest and primarily intended to cover basic expenses. While we may not yet be able to offer a competitive salary, we are committed to providing a rich learning environment, meaningful responsibilities, and mentorship that can contribute significantly to your professional growth. Any increase in compensation or transition to a paid role will be evaluated based on performance and funding availability.
