About Aralects

Aralects is building a gamified, self-paced language learning app designed to bridge the gap between Modern Standard Arabic and the rich diversity of Arabic dialects, including Egyptian, Lebanese, and Emirati. While we are still in the early stages of development, we are actively growing a community of Arabic language enthusiasts to raise awareness of dialectal variation and lay the groundwork for a successful launch. Our mission is to create an engaging, culturally immersive experience for learners around the world.

Role Description

This is a FULL-TIME remote (or hybrid) internship for a Product Analytics Intern at Aralects (3 months, extendable). You'll work at the intersection of growth, UX, and product analytics helping optimize both our public-facing website and our apps beta release. Your focus will be on setting up and analyzing user data pipelines using tools like PostHog, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about using data to improve user journeys, who's eager to contribute to both marketing efforts and real-world product testing as we roll out to a closed circle of early users.

Possible Responsibilities

  • Analyze traffic and user behavior on the landing page using PostHog and GTM.
  • Monitor KPIs such as bounce rate, session duration, click-through rate (CTR), and conversion events.
  • Assist in designing and analyzing A/B tests on both the landing page and the app interface.
  • Participate in quality assurance (QA) testing of the mobile app during internal beta releases.
  • Prepare app usage reports from early closed-circle testers, identifying bugs, friction points, and drop-offs.
  • Set up and manage event tracking across web and mobile platforms.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to turn data insights into actionable design and growth decisions.
  • Provide regular reports and suggest optimizations to improve user acquisition, onboarding, and retention.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a university degree in Marketing, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with (or interest in learning) tools like PostHog, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with SQL, Excel, or Python for data analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present clear, actionable insights.
  • Interest in ed-tech, UX testing, or Arabic language learning is a plus!
