We are urgently looking for Site Manager for one of our clients in the Energy Sector in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Location: Could be anywhere in Saudi Arabia

Nationality: Any

Years of Experience: 5 years

Educational Qualification: The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and capable of Attesting the Saudi council of engineers and be experienced in Overhead transmission lines or substations & approved by SEC.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Overseeing and managing complete Teams for multiple site projects of the company for Substations, Overhead line Construction, Testing & Commissioning and Project Closeouts.
  • Team to include all site staff excluding Safety, Quality and Civil Department.
  • Identifying new Direct Construction Business and supporting sales for the same.
  • Complying with all Company policies, quality procedures, statutory regulations and project specifications.
  • Overseeing the actual progress of construction.
  • Ensure implementation of approved program of works and updating schedules with planning engineers.
  • Coordination of all activities at site and resolving day to day technical issues at site with site Managers.
  • Coordination with Clients Project Managers, Civil Team regarding all aspects of Construction work at site.
  • Ensuring that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with the acceptable criteria identified for the project and Company Standards.
  • Ensuring that the work is completed in accordance with the specified Quality Management and Control system and in a safe manner.
  • Interaction with all Project Managers on manpower, material, engineering, procurement and plant requirements for construction activities.
  • Issuing instructions to the Site Managers/Supervisors to complete the work in accordance with Project Planning and Schedules and allocating resources.
  • Monitoring all Sub-contracts work closely to ensure that the Quality of the work is as per specification and is completed on time.
  • Review of short-term planning and advising the Project Director on any anticipated problems.
  • Providing budgetary information regarding requirement of manpower at site.
  • Monitoring and compiling relevant information on production rates.
  • To establish and implement Productivity Monitoring and improvement procedures for ensuring savings on labor costs.
  • Compile and analyze data regarding productivity and share it with tender estimation team / Knowledge Management Portal.
  • Carry out joint goal setting of direct repartees, conduct their formal appraisals & feedback sessions at least twice a year, identify their training needs, encourage them to attend development initiatives, participate in mentoring initiatives and implement action plans for improved Employee Engagement.
