Role Overview
The Business Development Manager MEP & Civil Constructions will be responsible for formulating and executing business development strategies to enhance company's position in the MEP and civil
construction markets, focusing on securing contracts, developing relationships, and identifying new opportunities for business growth in these sectors.
Ideal Candidate
An experienced business development professional with substantial expertise in the MEP and civil construction industries, a deep network of industry relationships, and a proven ability to drive the
acquisition of major contracts, as well as identifying growth and partnership opportunities in these specific fields.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure strategic partnerships with MEP contractors, civil engineering firms, developers, and infrastructure providers across the region.
Develop and execute strategies for MEP systems integration, civil construction, infrastructure development, and facility management projects.
Lead the preparation and submission of RFPs, proposals, technical bids, and manage negotiations for large-scale MEP and civil construction contracts.
Engage with regulatory bodies, ministries, and major project stakeholders to ensure compliance
and adherence to industry standards.
Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies in MEP systems, civil engineering, and construction methodologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as government authorities, private contractors, and infrastructure owners.
Coordinate with internal departments (operations, finance, legal) to create tailored, competitive offerings that meet client requirements and adhere to regulatory standards.
Represent company's at industry events, including construction expos, MEP forums, and relevant conferences.
Achieve defined business growth targets, ensuring both revenue generation and long-term client retention.
Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
Report directly to the CEO.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical
Engineering/Construction Management, or a related field.
A Masters degree or MBA is preferred, with additional qualifications in MEP systems or construction management being a plus.
10-15 years of progressive experience in business development within the MEP and civil
construction sectors, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.
Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including MEP installations, civil works, and integrated systems.
In-depth understanding of Saudi Arabia's construction and MEP landscape, including knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Proficiency in both Arabic and English (verbal and written communication is a must).
