About our Client
Our Client is a well-established American MNC specializing within the Consumer Electronics industry and have clients both in the B2B and B2C segment. They believe in innovation through passion and purpose to design and produce products, systems and software across various industries. To support them in their growth, they are looking for a Regional Demand Planning Lead for their B2B team.
Reporting to the Finance Director for APAC, main responsibilities include evaluating business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends that improve business performance.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Analyse historical sales trends, sales demands, inventory trends and incorporate future trends for recommendations to senior leaders within the business.
Support and drive operational and sales efficiencies by improving processes, analytical tools and dashboards.
Make recommended adjustments to forecasts and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
Work closely with global stakeholders based in the US on allocation of inventory.
Channel Inventory and sell through analysis.
Maintain integrated business planning regional data.
Drive process improvement projects to reduce surplus inventory levels.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you should have more than 5 years of experience within the Demand Forecasting and Supply Planning function. Ability to accept constant changes will be great as this role is evolving with the business needs and growth plans. Confident and well-spoken personality is required as this role involves heavy presentations to the global leaders. Ability to work in a fast-paced/FMCG environment will help with strong understanding of product life cycle.
