About our Client
Our Client is an International Luxury Lifestyle brand and has a market lead position in the hospitality industry, with headquarters all over the world. The company has a vision to bring people together and promote culture diversity through their products. With increasing demand and new business ventures, they are currently looking for a Senior Regional Buyer to be an integral part of their business to assist and continue to improve the Value Chain.
Your major responsibilities will involve managing your category portfolio mainly in Food as well as resolving queries from both Suppliers and Franchisees.
Your other responsibilities include:
- Category ownership in your Food portfolio – condiments, flavorings, poultry, seafood & wine
- Sourcing and negotiation with Vendors and Suppliers
- Vendors/Supplier Performance Management
- Perform root-cause analysis and identify gaps for improvements
- Procurement activities to support product trials & NPIs
- Monthly Distributor meetings
- Extensive Stakeholder engagement
The Successful Applicant
You should possess a degree in Supply Chain or equivalent related studies and you must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Procurement or Category Management. Experience in FMCG/F&B/e-Commerce sectors will be an advantage. You should also be strong with analytics as well as be sensitive to trends. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment is essential.
