Our Client is a Global MNC and has a market lead position in the facility services industry, with a multi-billion turnover in worldwide markets. The company has a vision to provide and deploy data, insights and knowledge to develop innovative strategies and intelligent solutions to meet the complex realities demand. With expanding business footprint, they are currently looking for an Category Manager to play a crucial role in the procurement’s Department’s continued development and success. 


Job Description

Your main responsibilities will deliver savings to business divisions, reduce risk and improve the procurement process within the assigned category.


Your other responsibilities include: 


  1. Pro-actively identify and recommend cost savings projects and optimization opportunities within the category.
  2. Ensure a successful implementation of facilities management category
  3. Managing RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s 
  4. Liaise with Operations to source new suppliers ensuring the required quality, price and support in the procurement of goods and services.

The Successful Applicant

You should possess a degree qualification in a business or mechanical engineering related or equivalent preferred. You must have minimum 5 years of work-related experience in Procurement. Demonstrates energy, persistence and determination in the implementation of projects and initiatives. You should also have good interpersonal skills engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
