Our client is a USA MNC within the logistics space and are no.1 in most of the markets they compete in with a strong reputation in the market. As the business grows, they are looking for a Pricing Manager for leading the pricing directions as well as support overall pricing activities with internal teams. The Pricing Manager to play an important role in the Commercial Department’s continued development and success.

Job Description

Reporting to the VP, Commercial for Asia, main responsibilities are leading the pricing directions, managing and maintaining good relationships with countries and carriers representation.

Your other responsibilities include:

  • Provides pricing direction to tenders and RFQs to clinch contracts from customers
  • Negotiate and maintain competitive Freight rates, terms and conditions (T&Cs) and ensure timely updates to the Sales and Operations teams; including contract management and sur charges fluctuations
  • Understand countries needs’ and establish and support customer-specific rates and T&Cs, including specific requirements with core carriers
  • Executive trade strategy in the areas of product and business development to achieve budgeted trade volumes and Profits.
  • Establish and communicate regular market information to internal teams in countries
  • Support Key Account teams in business review meetings
  • Pricing / proposal preparation as well as verification and benchmarking in alignment with the involved countries

The Successful Applicant

You should possess a degree qualification in management, Business or Commerce or equivalent preferred. You must have a minimum 6 years of work-related experience as Pricing Analyst/Manager in the Supply Chain industry. Good knowledge of ocean freight products. You should also have good negotiation, communication and analytical ability.
