With increasing demand and new business ventures, they are currently looking for a Senior Procurement Manager in the software category to be an integral part of their business to assist and continue to improve the Value Chain.

Job Description

Your major responsibilities will involve managing your category portfolio mainly in direct or product software procurement projects as well as extensive stakeholder engagement. This is a strategic Procurement position.

Your other responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing strategy ownership within the direct or product software category
  • Strategic sourcing and negotiation with Vendors and Suppliers
  • RFP/RFQ
  • Understanding of Open Source Licenses
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement
  • Client engagement and client facing

The Successful Applicant

You should possess a degree in Electronics, Engineering, Aerospace, Tech or equivalent related studies and you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement or Category Management. Experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Tech sectors will be an advantage. You should also be strong with analytics as well as be sensitive to trends. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment is essential.
