In the midst of strengthening their Global Technology team, they are actively looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide high-quality end-user support to their stakeholders. In this this role, you will closely support business teams across the region on their technical issues on a daily basis.
Job Description
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide a customer-oriented approach on first and second level issues related to hardware and software to users locally and regionally.
- Daily administration of Active Directory, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft environments.
- Provide support for printers, desk phones, and office setups, while proactively ensuring the smooth operation of the office's technology environment
- Maintain and keep track of IT assets across the offices to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational readiness
- Participate in roll-out of new technologies/projects
The Successful Applicant
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, computer science or relevant fields
- At least 6 years of end-user support experience, including supporting VIPs and regional stakeholders
- Prior experience in the financial services industry will be highly regarded
- Strong experience in Microsoft technologies (O365, Active Directory), video conferencing and conference room equipment (Cisco preferably)
- Excellent customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of pro-activeness and urgency
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
