They are currently hiring a Senior Sales Manager to join their team in Malaysia and be responsible to lead corporate market strategies to drive business growth and client retention, particularly in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segment.
Job Description
Reporting to the Sales Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies while identifying new business opportunities and trends in the MICE sector
- Manage the sales team and develop their competencies in line with the company's processes
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies
- Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and providing tailored solutions
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the group
The Successful Applicant
To be successful, you will have:
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management/Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 6 years experience in managing hotel group sales and dealing with corporate clients, preferably with a strong MICE network locally
- Prior team management experience with proven track record of building high-performing teams will be highly regarded
- Proactive work attitude with strong adaptability to a fast-paced environment
