Operations Manager (West Singapore)

The hiring firm is an established American MNC that is a major player in the services industry for F&B Clients. They have presence in major critical markets and intends to strengthen its portfolio to continue their growth and are currently looking for an Operations Manager to be an integral part of their business to assist and continue their current growth.

Job Description

You will be reporting into the Country Head and will be responsible for ensuring the effective running of the daily operations and activities. This role will play a key role in the leadership team of the company in the Singapore office.

Responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and manage transportation and warehouse supervisors to ensure the fulfilment of daily operations and activities

• Establish performance benchmarks and manage relationships with external business partners

• Develop and track annual operations department budget

• Take the lead and engage in ongoing programs for improvement to maximize productivity and save costs.

• Lead annual physical stock take exercise in collaboration with Finance department and outsourced warehouse partner

• Manage and meet operational performance metrics to establish key performance indicators that meet the required standard of customer service

• Ensure SOPs are documented and up to date for reference

The Successful Applicant

You will have a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or related fields with a passion to drive daily operations to meet business objectives. You will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in logistics/supply chain and prior experiences in 3PL environments/F&B industry will be highly regarded. You will also have a proven track record in building business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
