IT Risk Lead (Financial Services)

The hiring company is an established firm in the financial services who have steadily expanded over the years. They are currently actively hiring for an Information Technology Risk Lead to join their team. This role will play a crucial role in establishing and improving the company's IT risk governance processes and ensure strict compliance to MAS TRM guidelines. 

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of the company, the candidate will be responsible to: 

• Assist in the review and implementation of IT risk management frameworks, policies, processes, and procedures that are in compliance with MAS Technology Risk Management guidelines
• Assist in the identification, prioritization, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of key IT risks
• Regular reporting of IT matters to the senior management
• Administration of the company's IT infrastructure 
• Be the primary point of contact and liaison with third party service providers
• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT security training program.
  

The Successful Candidate

To be successful in this position, the candidate will have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field 
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in IT Risk/Technology in the financial services industry 
• Strong cyber security knowledge with relevant certifications (CISM/CISA/CISSP)
• Experience preparing risk assessments and conducting service provider due diligence 
• Strong project management skills and communication skills
• Proven ability to work with third party vendors
