Our Client is an MNC and has a market lead position in the Services industry, with a multi-million turnover in worldwide markets. The company has a vision to combine innovation, knowledge and products. With increasing demand and new business ventures, they are currently looking for a Sourcing Specialist to be an integral part of their business to assist and continue to improve the Value Chain.

Job Description

Your major responsibilities will involve managing your category portfolio mainly in Professional Services as well as extensive stakeholder engagement. This is a strategic Procurement position.

Your other responsibilities include:

• Category ownership for Professional Services category (Management Consulting, IT Consulting, Tax Advisory, Auditing, and HR related services)

• Lead strategic business review with key suppliers

• Deep dive strategy ownership and related procurement activities of Professional Services

• Formulate category specific cost models for appropriate business needs

• Lead RFQ pricing analysis and support negotiations

• Perform root-cause analysis and identify gaps for improvements

• Extensive stakeholder engagement

• Client engagement and client facing

The Successful Applicant

You should possess a degree in Supply Chain or equivalent related studies and you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement or Category Management. Experience in banking and service providing sectors will be an advantage. You should also be strong with analytics as well as be sensitive to trends. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment is essential.
