With expansion plan into Asia Pacific region, they are seeking a driven Assistant Manager, Global Tender Management to providing effective tender support to align opportunities for companys growth & strategy.

Job Description

You will be required to responsible for providing effective tender support, when received from internal & external customers, and align opportunities together with Companys growth & strategy and will be reporting to the VP of Global Tender Management directly.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Global Account Managers / Directors / Vice Presidents in formulating strategies for RFQ, and conducting pre- and post-opportunity analysis
  • Liaise with Air and Ocean Product groups in defining the optimal solution (in terms of routing / capacity / consolidation mix), and derive the best pricing approach for each target account and key tender
  • Liaise with other Regional Tender Management units and country management teams in creating market-competitive price proposals for global and regional tenders
  • Work closely with stakeholders in reviewing terms and conditions of regional and global tenders
  • Interface with subject matter experts in IT, Legal, Procurements, Account Management, Vertical Industries and Trade Lane Development in creating and delivering compelling customer driven services and solutions.

The Successful Applicant

You should possess a degree in Supply Chain or related studies and you must have a minimum of 2-5 years of Air and Ocean Tender/pricing experience in the transportation and Freight forwarding industry. Proficient in excel. Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment is essential.
