They have a huge worldwide presence and have significant market share in key global markets, offering a wide variety of Logistics solutions to their customers. The company has a vision to combine innovation, knowledge, people and products. With expansion plan into Asia Pacific region, they are seeking a driven Senior Business Development Manager to formulate and execute business development strategy for contract logistics services .
You will be required to develop new contract logistics warehousing and distribution business in Singapore, with a focus on targeted customers primarily in the Retail, Consumer, Healthcare, Automotive and Industrial verticals.and will be reporting to the VP of Sales directly.
- Expand business scale with customers, seek for new business, new customers in Logistics field to contribute to achieve total budget of revenue.
- You will be building strategic, trust-based relationships with prospective clients decision makers and provide industry insights, competitive landscape, leads and opportunity pipeline development.
- Handle tenders and work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and quality submission.
- Propose efficient logistics solution/ proposal meeting customer's need. and/or to manage and engage when there is any issue or irregularity related to customer.
The Successful Applicant
You should possess a degree in Supply Chain or related studies and you must have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain management industry. Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment is essential.
