About our Client
Our Client is a Global MNC and has a market lead position in the facility services industry, with a multi-billion turnover in worldwide markets. The company has a vision to provide and deploy data, insights and knowledge to develop innovative strategies and intelligent solutions to meet the complex realities demand. With an expanding business footprint, they are currently looking for a Procurement Compliance Manager to play a crucial role in the procurement’s Department’s continued development and success. This role will be based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement for Asia Pacific , main responsibilities will be driving programs to formulate the Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and maintain best practices, consistency, error reduction and enhance productivity in the conduct of procurement activities.
Your other responsibilities include:
Formulate the Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), forms and templates to maintain best practices, consistency, error reduction and enhance productivity in the conduct of procurement activities.
Work with internal and external lawyers on revision of various types of Conditions of Contracts to be used by the department;
Department representative for the implementation of central sourcing and contract management systems including overseeing the reporting, testing and resolution of system defects and errors by the system providers during post- system implementation.
Provide leadership, expert advice on contractual obligations, liabilities and responsibilities of contracting parties.
Work closely with legal counsel on major cases of contract default and non-compliances leading to legal claims and damages to be recovered from vendors.
The Successful Applicant
You should possess a degree qualification in a business or equivalent preferred. You must have minimum 5 years of work-related experience in contract management or compliance. Demonstrates energy, gravitas and determination in the implementation of projects and initiatives. You should also have good interpersonal skills engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
