About our Client
Our Client is a Global MNC and has a market lead position in the Professional Services industry, with a multi-billion turnover in worldwide markets. The company has a vision to provide and deploy data, insights and knowledge to develop innovative strategies and intelligent solutions to meet the complex realities demand. With an expanding business footprint, they are currently looking for a Head of Procurement to play a crucial role in the Procurement Department’s continued development and success.
Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer for Asia, main responsibilities will deliver savings to business divisions, reduce risk and improve the procurement process.
Your other responsibilities include:
To lead, manage, develop and motivate a strong procurement team.
To set long term and annual goals and KPIs for targeted outcomes, process efficiencies, logistic efficiency and cost reduction and general improvement activities and to monitor, report and drive the team on the achievement thereof.
Initiate and lead Stakeholder engagement for alignment of goals with the different business units
Interpret and translate results of data analytics to measure performance/health and identify opportunities for improvement/simplification, aggregation/alignment, and automation.
Lead and collaborate with various stakeholders in cross functional projects including developing change management plans, evaluating the impact of planned change, identifying risks and mitigation plans.
The Successful Applicant
You should possess a degree qualification in a business or mechanical engineering related or equivalent preferred. You must have minimum 10 years of work-related experience in Procurement. Demonstrates energy, gravitas and determination in the implementation of projects and initiatives. You should also have good interpersonal skills engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
