Position Summary

ARCH CAPITAL, INC is seeking a results-driven Mortgage Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, guiding clients through the mortgage application process, and developing relationships with borrowers, real estate professionals, and other referral sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and manage a pipeline of residential mortgage loans

• Evaluate clients financial profiles and determine appropriate loan products

• Collect and verify necessary documentation to ensure loan compliance

• Maintain knowledge of current mortgage regulations, programs, and market trends

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners

• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients throughout the loan process

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly loan production goals

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or similar role

• Active NMLS license required

• In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting, and regulatory guidelines

• Excellent interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills

• Ability to analyze financial data and make sound credit decisions

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Proficiency in loan origination systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in finance, business, or a related field

• Established network of referral partners and clients

• Bilingual in Spanish or other languages is a plus
