My client is dedicated to nurturing and empowering young individuals on their journey towards adulthood. To support the continuing service being provided they are looking for an experienced Support Worker to join their team, in this role you will contribute to providing essential care to young people, fostering their confidence and helping them realise their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in facilitating educational and volunteering opportunities tailored to the individual needs of the young people, fostering their skills, assets, and ambitions.
  • Adhere to a rotating shift schedule, including overnight stays.
  • Ensure accurate completion of necessary documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in a residential children's home environment.
  • Possession of at least an NVQ Level 3 in Social Care.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility within a team dynamic, demonstrating reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to remain composed in challenging situations.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
  • Shifts encompass
    • Early (7:30 am - 3:30 pm),
    • Late (2:30 pm - 10:30 pm),
    • and overnight (10:00 pm - 8:00 am)
