We're on the lookout for a skilled Construction Engineer to take charge of the engineering aspects of a utilities scale PV Solar plant project in the Greater Houston area. Responsibilities:

  • From a client point of view oversee construction projects and collaborate with contractors (EPC)
  • Conduct surveys, site setups, and ensure accurate technical designs implementation
  • Supervise contracted personnel to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines
  • Act as a liaison with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and local authorities
  • Offer technical advice and troubleshoot on-site issues
  • Prepare comprehensive site reports and monitor project progress
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and sustainability policies
  • Provide monthly internal reports detailing project status

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Demonstrated project management experience, preferably in utility-scale PV solar projects
  • Familiarity with legal language in contracts

Location Note: Candidates must be based in the Victoria County, TX area or be willing to relocate/commute reliably. This is a site-based role.
