As a Care Assistant / Support Worker / Personal Assistant, you could be:

  • Supporting individuals with daily living activities
  • Providing personal care and practical support where required
  • Assisting with mobility and moving and handling
  • Encouraging independence, choice and decision-making
  • Helping people access education, employment, hobbies and social activities
  • Supporting individuals to attend appointments and community activities
  • Building positive relationships and providing companionship
  • Following person-centred care and support plans
  • Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals and colleagues

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Previous experience in care, support work, healthcare or a similar role
  • A compassionate and patient approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A commitment to delivering person-centred support
  • A full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport
  • The right to work in the UK (please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role)

Already registered with the DBS Update Service? We'd love to hear from you, although it's not essential.

We also have dedicated full-time waking night positions and part-time positions available.
