About the Role

We are looking for a Data / Reporting Analyst who can move fast without sacrificing quality. This is a hands-on contract role where you will be expected to design, build, and validate dashboards and data pipelines from day one.

The right person for this role is equally comfortable writing SQL at 9am, deploying an Omni dashboard by noon, and running a full test suite before the end of day. Speed and rigor are not trade-offs here — they are both required.

Responsabilities

Dashboard Development and Delivery

  • Design and build production-ready Omni dashboards rapidly, from requirements to deployment within compressed timelines
  • Translate business questions from stakeholders into clear, actionable visual reports without requiring multiple revision cycles
  • Develop and maintain self-service reporting assets that non-technical users can navigate and trust
  • Integrate dashboards with live data sources including Databricks, SQL data warehouses, and SharePoint/M365 environments
  • Manage the Omni semantic layer: define and maintain consistent metrics, dimensions, and business logic across all reporting surfaces

Data Quality and Testing

  • Build and execute comprehensive test suites for every data pipeline and dashboard before any report goes to a stakeholder
  • Write data validation scripts in Python (pandas) to verify row counts, nulls, duplicates, referential integrity, and value ranges
  • Establish and maintain a regression testing framework so that changes to upstream data or models do not silently break downstream reports
  • Document test coverage and test results as part of every delivery, with sign-off required before production release
  • Flag and escalate data quality issues immediately with clear impact assessments and proposed remediation paths
  • Conduct peer review of SQL queries and dashboard logic to catch errors before they reach end users

Data Engineering and Pipeline Support

  • Write optimized SQL against Databricks and equivalent cloud data warehouse platforms
  • Build and maintain data transformation logic in Databricks using Python and Spark
  • Develop reusable Python/pandas scripts for data profiling, cleansing, and ad hoc analysis
  • Support the data architecture team in documenting data flows, table definitions, and transformation logic

Collaboration and Documentation

  • Work directly with the CIO and business stakeholders to prioritize and scope reporting requirements
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for all dashboards, data models, and testing procedures in SharePoint
  • Participate in sprint reviews, flagging blockers early and communicating progress against committed timelines

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in a data analyst or BI role
  • Dashboards: Omni (primary — dashboards, semantic layer, self-service), Power BI (legacy — in transition)
  • Data Platform: Databricks (transformation, ELT), cloud data warehouse (SQL)
  • Languages: SQL (primary), Python / pandas (validation, scripting, automation)
  • Collaboration: SharePoint / Microsoft 365 (documentation, file management, data integration)
  • Testing: Python-based validation scripts, manual test logs, peer review protocol
  • Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English (B2+ / C1)
  • Only candidates from Latin America
