Data Scientist (Computer Vision)

Responsabilities

• Data analysis and modeling: Collect, clean, transform, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to extract meaningful insights.
• Predictive model development: Design, train, and validate machine learning and deep learning models to solve business problems.
• Results communication: Translate technical findings into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, using reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Optimization and automation: Build efficient data pipelines to automate data collection, processing, and continuous analysis.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to align models and analytics with strategic objectives.
• Research and experimentation: Stay up to date with cutting-edge techniques in statistics, artificial intelligence, and data science, and apply them to internal projects.
• Object detection and computer vision: Design and train computer vision models focused on detecting, classifying, and tracking objects in images and videos, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production environments.
• Quality assurance and scalability: Validate models, conduct A/B testing, and ensure that implemented solutions are scalable and reliable.

Experience and Skills

• You must have at least 5 years of experience working on AI projects.
• Significant experience in object detection, computer vision, image binarization techniques, text extraction, and Roboflow.
• This is a permanent position, but freelancers who work on an hourly basis are also welcome to apply.
• This position is open only to candidates based in Latin America
