We are looking for a Network Operations Analyst (L2) - This position is open only to candidates based in Latin America

Performs initial triage, basic troubleshooting, and standard change implementations using detailed runbooks.

Escalates complex or cross‑domain issues to L3 with well‑documented findings.

The scope of this engagement is operations only and covers:

  • Initial and advanced incident triage and troubleshooting
  • Execution of approved changes during scheduled maintenance windows
  • Support for data center, campus, and video services

All work is to be performed remotely. When issues require on‑site intervention or design/engineering changes, the offshore L2/L3 team will escalate to on‑call and on‑site network engineers according to the defined escalation paths and procedures.

IMPORTANT: Coverage during USA Second Shift (EST) hours (14:00 – 22:00)

Responsabilities

Incident Management – Triage & Troubleshooting

  • Monitor dashboards/alerts for latency, jitter, packet loss, bandwidth, interface errors, link flaps.
  • Perform first‑line checks: interfaces, VLANs, routing neighbors, basic firewall logs, F5 pool health.
  • Follow runbooks to apply simple recovery actions (e.g., interface resets, documented failovers).
  • Document findings and escalate to L3 when root cause is not clear or impact is high.

Data Center Operations (Remote)

  • Monitor data center devices, links, and KPIs.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for connectivity and performance issues affecting servers and applications.
  • Execute standard changes: VLAN/port assignments, static routes per template, adding/removing F5 pool members, simple DNS changes in Infoblox.

Campus Operations (Remote)

  • Monitor campus/access networks, site alarms, user connectivity incidents.
  • Perform initial checks: access port configs, VLANs, ACL hits, default gateway reachability.
  • Execute standard changes: access port config, simple ACL updates, scripted OS upgrades for non‑critical devices

Video Operations (Remote)

  • Monitor video related metrics (latency, jitter, packet loss for conferencing traffic).
  • Perform first line checks: QoS marking verification, WAN/campus bandwidth checks, endpoint/gateway reachability.
  • Execute standard endpoint firmware updates and template driven QoS changes.

Change Management (Service Now)

  • Work from approved change tickets and detailed implementation plans.
  • Execute low‑ to medium‑risk changes: interface/VLAN changes, standard firewall rule adds/updates, F5 pool membership changes, routine OS/firmware updates on non‑critical devices.
  • Accurately document execution steps, validation, and backout (if used).

Experience and Skills

  • 3–5 years in enterprise network operations / NOC roles.
  • Able to use the following tools for monitoring, basic changes, and triage:
  • Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM
  • Arista CVP / EOS
  • Cisco DNA Center, Cisco IOS/NX‑OS
  • Palo Alto firewalls & Panorama
  • Fortinet SD‑WAN & FortiManager
  • F5 LTM & GTM
  • EXFO network testing tools
  • ExtraHop
  • Ciena MCP
  • ServiceNow (incidents/changes)
  • English B2 or higher
