Job Requirements:

  • Ready to be placed at ASTON Samarinda Hotel & Conference Center, East Kalimantan
  • Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas, either orally or in writing.
  • Must be able to evaluate action and make decisions quickly and accurately.
  • Must be able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and manage priorities.
  • Must be able to handle problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, taking action, and clarifying issues.
  • Must be able to work with, understand, and interpret financial information, hotel operations data, and complex arithmetic functions.
  • Should have a high command of MS Applications like Excel, PowerPoint, etc, and knowledge of a back office or accounting system.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent financial/business decision-making.
  • Should possess strong Financial knowledge.
  • Analytical skills and very well organised.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage and communicate cash flow-related issues.
  • Monitor hotel revenues/expenses and ensure accurate recording
  • Monitor the capital planning process
  • Ensure compliance with all contracts, legal agreements, all operational taxes, maintaining all licenses, permits, insurance, and other regulatory contracts.
  • Maintain compliance with the Aston International Group Finance Manual and all the policies and procedures documented in the manual.
  • Audit all internal financial controls, including purchasing, cash handling, and disbursements, inventories, hotel assets, master keys, payroll, and employee records.

  • Ensure the proper utilization, maintenance, and periodic upgrades of all Information Technology equipment
  • Direct or prepare all financial reports
  • Maximize efforts toward productivity, identify problems, and assist in problem-solving.
